Few tips for those going out trick or treating:
- Bring flashlight & Batteries
- Have some sort of reflective material on your costume or Candy Bag
- An adult should ALWAYS accompany children while trick or treating
- Use face makeup, instead of masks, so eyes are not covered making it difficult to see in evening
- Visit homes only with porch lights on
- Walk on sidewalk, not in street, unless no sidewalk, then walk facing traffic along edge of roadway
- Be cautious of strange animals & dogs
- Do not cut across yards or dark alleys, etc
- do not eat candy while trick or treating-wait till you get home & have an adult inspect treats carefully
- Never go inside a house, always stay outside on porch
A few tips to contribute to every ones safety:
- Turn on outside lights
