Gearing up for the 75th Anniversary Celebration

From its humble beginning in 1938, when Everett & Gladys Stone first bought the Lighthouse Inn (originally the Noyes Estate), the Lighthouse Inn now approaches its 75th Diamond Anniversary year in 2013. With creative enthusiasm we continue to plan for the upcoming landmark year. We invite you all to celebrate with us. Please share your personal stories and photos from your time spent at the Lighthouse Inn. Undoubtedly, the Lighthouse Inn legacy is illuminated by the memories of families, guests & employees.

Another season has come and gone

Another season has come and gone in the blink of a eye here at Lighthouse Inn. Our great team of employees work hard at the end of each season, closing up the Waterfront Restaurant, kitchen, Bars, accommodations & Front Desk. Everyone pitches in and gets majority done after our last breakfast on Columbus Day. With the melody of music playing & laughter amongst each other, our employees have fun while getting the job done. Mixed emotions of excitement for their next step whether that be going back home to a differant country, back to school or to the next seasonal job, it is still bitter sweet to say our goodbyes. Year after year we have the pleasure to appreciate the time spent together, and learn from the differant backgrounds, interests & personalities of the many employees. Its more than a team, we form a family here at the Lighthouse Inn, and although some do return for multiple years, one season is never the same as the next, which is one of the reasons we always enjoy the time working side by side. Approaching our 75th anniversary in 2013, we want to thank the employees throughout the years. Undoubtedly it would be impossible with out them.
