August 19, 1991 Hurricane Bob on Cape Cod at the Lighthouse Inn

‎It was August 19, 1991 just 20 years ago, when we had an uninvited guest who really made a mess of the place! Hurricane Bob descended upon us at about 1:00 pm. Most of our guests had either left or evacuated to our former sister restaurant Bishop’s Terrace for a fun filled afternoon of lunch and games.


All of our pictures usually show the best parts of the ocean but this day was one of the worst in 50 years!
